Players may withdraw or cancel out of a tournament via Golf Genius or by emailing Nash Gosser (ngosser@tngolf.org) or Hayden Echols (hechols@tngolf.org).

 

Players who withdraw from a tournament more than 48 hours prior to the event's first scheduled starting time will be refunded their entire entry fee minus a $5.00 processing fee.

 

Players who withdraw within 48 hours of the tournament's first scheduled starting time will receive a refund minus a $30.00 cancellation fee.

 

Any player entered in an event who fails to show for their tee time without giving prior notice to TGF staff will automatically be withdrawn from the tournament. No refunds are available for no shows. 

 

Players who withdraw from a tournament after starting their round do not receive a refund. They will receive points for participating in the event.

 

 

 

WEATHER POLICY:

 

All pro-am tournaments are rain or shine. 

 

In the event a tournament is cancelled by the TN Golf Foundation due to unplayable course conditions, refunds will be issued to players who did not start or finish their round. If a tournament is cancelled, clear communication will be made from the TGF to all participants. 

 

If there is a weather delay (dangerous weather or frost delays), tee times will be delayed the total time of the delay. For example if there is a two hour frost delay, the 8 AM tee time would tee off at 10 AM, the 12 PM tee time would tee off at 2 PM, etc.. In these situations, if the delay pushes the later times on the tee sheet to a start time that is not feasible for the groups to finish, communication will be made to those groups and a refund will be issued.

 

Note: The TGF Knoxville Pro-Am Series follows all host golf course policies including "cart path only" situations. The host golf courses decide when to implement "cart path only". If "cart path only" could create an issue for a golfer, it is the golfer's responsibility to contact the TGF prior to arrival to check the status of "cart path only" for that day.
